Great service and burgers here. Got a salad too and the greens were particularly good. Lots of old photos and things to check out inside.

This is a great place to stop when you are in Crown King. The inside of this establishment is authentic to the extreme! It almost feels like you're stepping into the wild west back in the 1800s. They have a decent menu, not overly complicated but everything is good. The prices aren't too bad. They do accept credit cards. Service was friendly. I highly recommend taking a drive up to crown King one of these days and checking out this restaurant. It's a beautiful drive and you will not believe how beautiful Crown King is.

After completing the Back Road to Crown King trail, you drop out practically in front of the Saloon, and for good reason. That trail, regardless of your driving skill, mandates a beer. Or, several. And if you have too many, then grab a room at the cabins stumbling distance away. But while you're at the saloon, be sure to talk to the locals, like Jim at the bar. They'll tell you stories of the area and are genuinely nice. I could live in Crown King. It's my kinda town.
